INK ON PAPER CHINESE INK BRUSH PAINTING
I am fortunate to experience Chinese ink, brush, and handmade rice paper when I was 6 years old. In 2006 I started to practice Chinese traditional ink brush paintings. In Chinese art history, the masters believe that a beautiful painting reveals the artist’s beautiful character. The learning process is not only about skills’ improvement but also involved spiritual growth. During this time, the main subjects of my paintings are flowers, trees, bamboo, birds, and landscape. Following my heart and imagination, the brush carrying ink walks on the rice paper, which is not only art, but also the essence of ‘Tao’ and ‘Zen’.

These are two selections of my Chinese calligraphy were written down in June 2012 by using Chinese a tiny brush, traditional black ink, and golden ink on handmade rice paper.
