This piece is part of my ‘Mountain Meditation‘series. Each work is unique, and the combination of multiple works will create your own unique gallery wall.  

ABOUT: In this series I have refined the essence of traditional Chinese brush ink lines and combined it with contemporary painting language to find a peaceful spiritual realm between the quiet lines and eye-catching colour blocks. It is a reflection on the silence of the present and the reflection on the past. Each work is filled with the truth and joy felt in meditation. The peaceful vibrancy can be brought into your life through this piece.

TECHNIQUE: This work combines traditional Chinese ink with printing ink, and uses my more than 10 years of Chinese brush ink techniques throughout the process, making a perfect combination with monoprint techniques to create a unique contemporary painting language to illustrate profound ideas. Each work has to go through at least 3 layers of printing, so it takes time and patience, and there is only one edition for each work, so it is very precious and rare. It was then sealed with a matt varnish to give the print UV protection, increasing light-fastness and resistance to fading.
