The title of this series is “Love Is Love”. In fact, it is difficult to describe love with words, so it seems easier and more emotional for me to express it with paintings. The flow of colours and the marks on the paper are all natural expressions of love from my inner.
Recognizing the numbness of the self is the beginning of self-awakening, and fighting for the right to freedom is the root of self-love.-Qin Yue ❤
This series is larger in size, and frankly speaking, the original works are much more vivid than the pictures. The title of each painting is chosen from my poem ‘Love’.
… Love, Is the pure stream that softly running between my fingers, Love, Is the spring breeze that gently passing through my hair, Love, Is the snowflakes that kissing my cheeks and melt into teardrops. No direction, No condition, No stagnation. …
In my post on 1st March 2021, I posted an excerpt of the English translation of my Chinese poem ‘Love’, as well as some personal insights about love. Love is the core of life and the constant theme of art. Even behind the scary faces and cold communication, there is a lonely heart expressing the desire for love. These days, fear, indifference, and falsehood pervade the world, just as we now have to wear masks when we are out, and we slowly become accustomed to these negative thoughts and behaviors. Numbness is terrible, freedom is valuable. Recognizing the numbness of the self is the beginning of self-awakening, and fighting for the right to freedom is the root of self-love.
The world needs love and light more than ever, please start your journey of self-love, the light will follow, and true love will come to you unexpectedly. Your life will profoundly change in the right direction you desired in the blink of an eye.
With much gratitude and love Yue ❤ xx
