I created this work on the site, a very quiet village in the countryside of Beijing and beautiful natural landscape around.
I wish the ancient Chinese philosophy of the harmony of YIN YANG can inspire and apply to your beautiful artworks and life! ❤️
I wasn’t surprise to find persimmon trees everywhere in this village as in China it is said they can bring good transformation to people’s life. When the fruit matures, it becomes sweet from bitter taste and indicates wisdom that follows transformation.
Transformation cause the changing of yin yang, achieving the new balance of yin yang is filled in the each step of the process of the transformation. I’m sure you’re no stranger to the yin yang symbol of the black and white ‘fish’. The balance of yin yang is the core concept of traditional Chinese culture. yin yang are the attributes of everything in heaven and earth. The sun and moon, male and female, hot and cold, joy and anger, all covered in yin yang.
It is the law of all things in heaven and earth, yin yang are constantly evolving and transforming. By adjusting the changes of yin yang, people achieve a new balance and a state of harmony. This ancient Chinese philosophy of yin yang reflects the millennia-old harmonious world of the Chinese mind, and when it permeates Chinese painting, calligraphy and poetry, it is full of unique aesthetic appeal.
For example, in Chinese painting, white rice paper is yang, ink is yin, yellow is yang, blue is yin…When I create my artwork, I also balance the yin yang elements in it by adjusting them to achieve a harmonious aesthetic quality. I wish the ancient Chinese philosophy of the harmony of YIN YANG can inspire and apply to your beautiful artworks and life!
With much gratitude and love Yue ❤️xx
